Fixing Mistakes

Always wanted to know how to pick up that dropped stitch?  What to do with a mistake four rows back?  In this workshop you will learn rescue techniques that will keep you knitting along.  For the class, bring a swatch that is approximately 6 inches wide and 4 inches long knit as follows:

Row 1- Knit 1/2 of stitches cast on, purl the reminder.

Row 2- Knit 1/2 of the stitches, purl the remainder.

For example, if you cast on 40 stitches to make your swatch, knit 20 then purl 20.  Repeat for every row.  You will have a swatch that is half garter stitch and half stockinette stitch, vertically.
